New Obsession: Floral Jeans.

Now that the spring is finally here it is time to bust out a whole new wardrobe (thank God). The transition into spring and summer is probably one of my favorite times of the year because I despise the winter months and winter clothing (exceptions: chunky sweaters, hats, and scarves). There is just nothing I like more than spring and summer clothing.

This season, floral patterns have been all the rage and I cannot wait to buy into this trend.I'm especially loving floral jeans and shorts. Back in February I saw a few pairs of floral jeans in Bloomingdales and I thought, "who the hell is going to wear these?" After giving it some thought I realized I would. Now, more than likely I will get teased by my boyfriend and well everyone. Do I care? Nope. Bring. It. On. Floral patterns can easily be dressed down or up. The Current Elliot floral shorts are super casual and easy. Minka Kelly's floral ensemble with her leather top is an example of dressing them up. Although I love those jeans, they are Dolce and Gabbana and, sigh.  No matter where you want to wear your florals, I would recommend keeping it simple on the top--plain and simple (i.e. a white tank top).

If jumping heard first into this trend is a little too daunting--I mean you need to have some serious balls to rock these outfits with confidence--start small. A floral top, dress, shoe, or scarf. Work our way up to the shorts, and if you are really brave, the jeans. Most importantly, have fun with it
